Default Jeff Chychrun - Could have been.....

Quite possibly one of the best of his time?

2 seasons with the Hershey Bears
129 GP 449 PIM

3 1/2 seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers
199 GP 602 PIM

6' 4" 185 lbs. soaked and wet

Jeff Chychrunautolinker.com autolinking image was one of my favorite ever Philadelphia Flyers fighters. Had it not been for his messed up knees, I think he'd have never been traded and could've easily won the fight/penalty minute king position as the Flyers all time best fighter. The guy was a string bean who threw wicked hard body checks, was dirty as all hell and could swing a hammer with with his right and come back with some lefts on occasion. He went with every single heavy numerous times even scored a few knock downs and TKO's. He wasn't bad defensively and could actually skate. I liked his style. No nonsense straight to the point fists blazing right off the bat attack mentality. Unfortunately his career was cut short because of injury and he never really came back after he left the flyers. Essentially that was actually the end of his full time gig since he couldn't finish a season after that.

Here's to ya Jeff, wish you coulda hung around.
