BOSTON - Boston Bruins have acquired forward Matt Marquardt from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for defenceman Jonathan Sigalet, the club announced Tuesday.
Marquardt, 20, registered 43 goals and 26 assists in 68 games last season, which he split between QMJHL's Baie-Comeau and Moncton.
After recording 20-13-33 totals in 35 games for Moncton, he was traded to Baie-Comeau in December 2007 where he scored 23 goals and added 13 helpers in 33 games.

Bruins acquire Marquardt from Jackets for Sigalet

This sounds to me like a pretty nice deal. Not bad output from a guy @ the Q level. Both teams could wind up making out very well in this deal.
